The purpose of SAMPE Chapter Relations is to develop and recognize chapters as integral components of SAMPE. We encourage discussion, activities and programs that support the mutual interests of SAMPE and the chapters. The committee serves to advise when requested on proposals and actions of other SAMPE actions that may affect chapters. Chapter Relations provides a forum for chapters to share ideas and concerns of common interest and identify common needs and goals. Furthermore, the Chapter Relations communicates these chapter needs and goals to SAMPE and SAMPE goals, programs and priorities to the chapters. Chapter Relations works to encourage and maintain a cooperative and supportive relationship among SAMPE and the chapters.

Hosting a North America Conference & Exhibition
North America Conferences and Exhibitions are developed by sponsoring professional chapters based in the North America Region of SAMPE.
The process begins with the submission of the Letter of Intent (LOI) to the Future Conferences Committee (FCC). Following the LOI, chapters must submit an Official Proposal. Official Proposals are considered by the FCC and a recommendation is made to the North America Executive Cabinet (NAEC). The North America Board of Directors (NABOD) vote to approve the NAEC recommendation.
Hosting an event is a challenging, but rewarding endeavor. Details are provided in the North America Practices, section 3.1-Sp13 (Page 20).
